56th Schmidt Ferenc Cross-country Run

A traditional family-friendly cross-country run in Pétfürdő to welcome spring, with no time limit and distances ranging from 1 to 11 km.

🏃 The 56th spring cross-country race in Pétfűrdő welcomes participants with a family-friendly atmosphere and a variety of distances. The 1 and 2 km races are on asphalt, while the longer distances are along forest roads after the first kilometer. 

🌲 There is no time limit, and the distances can also be completed at a walking pace. Hot tea, soda, and larded bread await all runners and their companions at the finish line. Results are announced only for those under 10 years of age for the 1 km race and only for those under 18 years of age for the 2 km race.

📍 Start/finish: Albert Recreation Park, Pétfűrdő

📏 Distances: 1 km, 2 km, 6 km, 11 km, relay (6+5 km)

🌳 Route: 1–2 km on asphalt, longer distances on forest roads after the first kilometer

⏱️ Time limit: none, can also be completed by just walking

☕ Refreshments: hot tea, juice, and larded bread after the finish

💰 Entry fees:

• Under 18: free
• 18+ pre-registered: 5,000 HUF/person
• Pre-registered but not paid in advance: 6,000 HUF/person on site
• On-site registration (18+): 10,000 HUF/person
