We are in present-day Iran. It is nighttime, and a family with a small child is driving home on a dark road when they suddenly have a minor accident. They seek help from a nearby car mechanic. The incident leads to an avalanche of consequences when a former employee of the workshop, a man who had previously been imprisoned for political reasons, brutally interrogates the unlucky driver. The man seeks out his former comrades to help him confirm his suspicions. The members of the group, who have experienced the hell of prison, are faced with important moral dilemmas: can self-reliance bring peace of mind in an oppressive, unjust system? (Cirko Film)
