Gastro Hill Badacsony

12 locations and 12 restaurant teams committed to staying open all year round at Lake Balaton: they are the ones whose cooperation makes Gastro Hill happen year after year. From October to May, you can meet the people and faces of Badacsony at a time when there is much more time to chat, snack, get to know each other and the region. The slowdown from fall to spring suits Badacsony particularly well, and there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation even then. The organizers encourage guests to explore the area on foot or on BalatonBike365's super-fast electric bikes. After a section of the Kékút trail, cycling up the hill or after a long bike ride, a glass of volcanic wine and an exciting snack or dessert will be especially welcome.

• There is no admission fee or ticket required to participate – this year we are giving you more freedom, just visit any of the participating venues. If you are coming with a group, it is worth reserving a table.
• From now on, you can not only eat and drink delicious food and drinks on the hill, but you can also collect stamps.

We have launched a new stamp collection game so that you can enjoy even more experiences with us. You can find the Gastro Hill map everywhere, with the stamp locations on the back. You will receive a stamp when you enter the restaurant and choose the Gastro Hill offer. With three stamps, you can take part in the game: take a photo and send the completed map after each themed weekend by midnight on Sunday to [email protected], and we will raffle off valuable surprises from Badacsony.

Most places are within a few minutes' walk of each other, and those further away can be easily reached by bike, train, or taxi.
