Budapest 2026 Grappling Championship – G4 League, Round 3

  • On June 6, Budapest will host one of the most important events in Hungarian grappling, the third round of the 2025-2026 season of the G4 Grappling League. The official ranking competition of the Hungarian Grappling Federation will be held at one of the capital's most modern combat sports venues, Pestszentimrei Sportkastély.

What can participants expect? The Budapest round is traditionally one of the most popular domestic competitions , where everyone from beginners to professionals can test their skills. The aim of the competition is to promote the sport and to earn the ranking points necessary to qualify for the national team.

Competition events and categories:

  • Gi Grappling: traditional gi fighting (with BJJ basics).
  • NoGi Grappling: modern, unclothed ground fighting.
  • Open categories: weightless fights for the most prepared fighters.
  • All age groups: kids, youth, cadets, juniors, adults, and veterans.

Location: Pestszentimrei Sportkastély. The choice of location is no coincidence: the Sports Palace has excellent infrastructure for hosting large-scale combat sports events.
