Overview
Located at the end of Madách Street, next to Kárpáti Promenade, is the family-friendly Gyenesdiás Farmers’ Market and Event Area, where a colorful selection of drinks and food awaits visitors. The market square is surrounded by nine wooden huts, where, during the market season, visitors can find, among other things, freshly grilled meat dishes, pork chops, marrow toast, lángos, pancakes, smoked and fried fish, delicacies from Zala County, such as dödölle and tócsi, crispy salads and sweet fruits, homemade syrups, brandies, wines, and beers are available.

April–May: Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
June–August: Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–9:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
Between September 1 and October 15: Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
On the occasion of major local events: from the start to the end of the event each day.
Main market day: Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
During the summer months, live entertainment programs enliven the market atmosphere every Saturday starting at 6:00 PM.
Permanent product selection:
smoked and freshly grilled fish pork, sausages, and kolbász lángos, pancakes, chimney cake, marrow-stuffed toast, and a platter of sausages, goat cheese-stuffed pastries and gourmet salads, artisanal burgers, homemade strudels and sourdough pastries, farm-direct and bottled wines, house-brewed beer on tap, flavorful brandies, homemade fruit juices, natural fruit juices barbecue, farm-fresh honey handcrafted gifts, wood carvings, decoupage.
Every last Friday of the month, Gyenesdiás Market, where visitors can meet local producers, discover local, certified, healthy products, and even sample and purchase them. The product selection and programs change thematically from month to month, as “Local products are always in season!”
