Competitor Information
The Open ICO Amateur National Championship is a great opportunity for all amateur athletes who wish to test their skills in a prestigious, well-organized competition. Only athletes from officially registered sports clubs may enter the competition, provided they have a valid competition license and a sports medical certificate. Registration takes place via the Kihapp system, and entry fees must be paid in advance. The organizers strongly emphasize strict adherence to weight classes, as exceeding the weight limit results in automatic disqualification, with no chance of reinstatement.
Weigh-in takes place between 07:30 and 09:00; teams must arrive and register by 08:45 at the latest. Late arrivals will result in disqualification. Participants in the matches are required to wear protective gear that varies depending on the style, such as an open-face headguard, 10-ounce boxing gloves, and the attire required for the specific discipline. The first-place finishers in each category will receive a championship belt, a medal, and a certificate, while the other podium finishers will take home a medal and a certificate. The competition is an ideal opportunity to gain experience, improve your skills, and test your knowledge at one of Hungary’s largest amateur combat sports events.
