The opening act of the VeszprémFest 2026 program will be Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes, one of the most internationally renowned representatives of the Latin rock genre and performer of "La Camisa Negra."
During his solo career spanning more than two decades, his musical work has been recognized with significant awards: his collection includes 4 Grammy Awards and 26 Latin Grammy Awards, making him one of the most decorated performers in the history of the latter.nbsp;
In 2019, the Latin Recording Academy named him "Person of the Year" for his musical and humanitarian activities.
His style is characterized by a fusion of Spanish-language rock music, pop, and elements of Colombian folk music (such as cumbia and vallenato).
