Long Good Thursday—A Love Story of a Man Who Regrets
His sons want to put him in a nursing home, but the grumpy old man doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in an institution, so he runs away. While shopping in a grocery store, an irresistibly enticing scent—a mixture of chainsaw oil, a blend of pine bark and sawdust—shakes him out of his grumpy mood. The scent belongs to a free-spirited woman named Saimi. Her words, her gaze, and her touch awaken long-forgotten feelings within him and shed light on the loneliness of a man who has been a widower for a long time. Through family gatherings, absurd misunderstandings, moonlit baths, and sleepless nights, the spectator realizes that the power of love can penetrate even the oldest flanel shirt.
