At the next MeetUp, you’ll get a glimpse into the digital side of event planning with the help of two experts.
One of the speakers is Luca Horváth, project assistant at Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Jsc., who gained experience through the operation of the Tourism Management System (TMR) and the HelloVEB portal, and has also gained extensive practical experience in the digital presentation of events. In her presentation, she focuses on how an event can truly become discoverable and understandable in the online space— not through a campaign-style approach, but through a conscious, systematic presence.
We will also discuss the role of LinkedIn as a B2B and institutional communication tool, on building an authentic professional presence, and on what the digital “aftermath” of an event entails: how to create long-term value through sharing, feedback, and placing content in a professional context.
The other speaker is Tünde Tóth, Head of Digital Strategy at MTPA, an online marketing specialist, and social media manager for Valley of Arts, who approaches event communication (Facebook, Instagram). In her presentation, she offers insight into how the digital presence of festivals works in practice: what kind of content really works, how to build a community, and how to keep an event visible and relevant in social media.
During the MeetUp, we’ll use practical examples to demonstrate which digital tools can effectively support event planning, where event communication most often falls short, and how to improve your online presence with simple, well-thought-out steps.
