SCREEN

The screen is the medium and tool that overshadows everything in our present. We can view the fact that we absorb vast amounts of digitized, a massive amount of audiovisual information almost exclusively through this interface. From the early history of the screen— from the magic lantern through cinema and television to computer monitors and flat-screen displays. The exhibition explores this theme through works from the 1970s to the present, that utilize and interpret this medium and technique. Students and faculty from Metropolitan University are collaborating on the realization of the exhibition and educational program.
