The Adventure Game of Scents – an interactive exhibition

Strong, pungent, balsamic, sharp, nose-tingling? Scents are amazingly diverse, and the human sense of smell plays a much greater role in our lives than we might imagine. Visitors to the interactive exhibition THE ADVENTURE OF SCENTS can test their noses and senses in an entertaining, rich in scents, where they can test their noses and senses.

During the scent adventure, participants can find out if they are able to recognize and name different scents, while learning about the amazingly complex phenomenon of smell and scent perception through play. Visitors to the exhibition will be introduced to the science of smell, the secrets of noses and trunks, and the wonderful world of the most surprising scents and smells. Upon entering, visitors receive a text-based game that allows them to get closer and closer to their goal step by step. The unique exhibition awaits young and old alike with magical scent puzzles, fairy-tale stories, and scientific curiosities. The content that can be read and seen at the exhibition has been compiled in such a way that it can even be adapted to educational materials. Among other things, visitors can learn what space smells like, how to identify exotic plants from distant lands using their sense of smell, and how to identify exotic plants from distant lands with the help of their noses, or travel back in time to bygone eras and holidays through their sense of smell. Visitors can learn, among other things, how aquatic animals smell, why miners took canaries into the mines, and how many times King Louis XIV, who lived in luxurious splendor, bathed during his long reign.

Exhibition dates: February 18-28, 2026, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Saturday; 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sunday.

Tickets can only be purchased at the Agora ticket office during its opening hours.

Admission: 500 HUF/person

Family ticket: 1,500 HUF/ (2 adults + 2 children, or 1 adult + 3 children)

Group ticket: 200 HUF (for groups of 10 or more)
