The performance of Magyarock Dalszínház (Hungarian Rock Song Theater): A padlás (The Attic) by Gábor Presser, Dusán Sztevanovity and Péter Horváth's classic "half fairy tale, half musical" , which remains one of the company's most popular repertoire pieces in 2026. What makes this production special is that the company has been performing it successfully for more than 15 years, often at special outdoor venues, such as the Monostori Fortress (Monostori Erőd) in South Komárom. About the performance: the story of "Between Heaven and Earth" takes place on a magical attic where Rádiós, a young scientist, lives. Four ghosts arrive here, who have been searching for 530 years for the path to the "realm of light," but only those whose "hearts are as pure as a kid's" can see them. The plot is complicated by the arrival of gangster Barrabás, the police investigation, and Mamóka's plum dumpling, while cheerful songs such as "Fényév távolság" (Light Year Distance) or "Szilvásgombóc" (Plum Dumpling) play. Main features:
- Target audience: The play is suitable for all age groups from 9 to 99, a fairy tale for kids, and thought-provoking stories for adults about memory and love. Cast: In addition to the company's permanent artists (e.g., Lehel Mások), new talents are also introduced in the performance from time to time.
- Style: a dynamic, emotionally charged adaptation characteristic of Magyarock Dalszínház, which remains faithful to the original musical theater atmosphere, but gives the characters a unique look.
