Vadlán Ultra Cross Country and Cross Country Ultra Running Hungarian Championship 2026

Fall cross-country trails, lookout points, forest slopes – long hours on the hills.

⛰️ A fall ultra on the ridges of the Keszthely Hills: the course connects iconic points – lookout towers, Tátika Castle, the Buddhist stupa, Rezi Castle – with long, technical sections alternating with each other.

🏁 The distances can be completed individually at 108, 87, and 53 km, and the 108 km can also be chosen as a team. The longest distance is more than 3000 m uphill, and the 53 km distance has an elevation gain of approximately 1500 m.

🧭 The race center is located in Cserszegtomaj, at the Cultural Center, where you can pick up your starter pack. Registration is based on the number of participants. Further details and registration are available on the official website.

• 108 km: ~3250 m+, 90% forest/gravel/dirt road, 10% asphalt • Direction: From Cserszegtomaj to Rezi
• 87 km: ~2750 m+, 90% forest/gravel/dirt road, 10% asphalt
• 53 km: ~1500 m+, 85% forest/gravel/dirt road, 15% asphalt

📝 Registration: 108/87/53 km individual and 108 km team from 20:00 on February 1, 2026. There is no on-site registration!

⚠ MIR registration is also required for the VUT108 individual Hungarian Championship race

🥤 Refreshments/equipment: Refreshment points on the course and at the finish line • no disposable cups • bring your own water bottle, cup, cutlery • first aid and safety provided

🏅 Evaluation: Podium – women's and men's individual (VUT108 MB and open), VUT87 individual, VUT53 individual, VUT108 2-person and 3-person teams • results expected to be announced on October 3 at 9:00 p.m.

🚗 Parking/other: Free parking next to the competition center, motorhomes also allowed • Environmental protection: waste can only be disposed of at designated points. • The organizers reserve the right to change the route, time, and program.
