In a house standing in the middle of the sea, a woman lives alone, crafting a little girl out of her own hair. One day, a strand of hair appears that catches the child’s attention and disrupts the harmony. Driven by jealousy and fear, the woman resorts to measures that restrict the girl’s life even more the more she is drawn to the outside world.
