Program overview
Dr. Emőke Kovács, historian and prominent researcher of the cultural history of Lake Balaton, presents her work in an unusual, in a personal presentation, she will show the changes in hospitality around the lake, from the world of laid tables to modern gastronomy. The researcher, who grew up near Lake Balaton, draws on his own experiences and research to talk about restaurants, dishes, guests, and eras— everything that has shaped life around the lake for 200 years. History, culture, and gastronomy – in a lively, direct presentation.
Participation information
The ticket includes the menu, the price of the accompanying drinks, and the service charge. The ticket price covers one person's consumption and includes VAT. Advance booking is required to redeem the ticket/gift voucher. Please indicate your reservation intention via email at [email protected] email address, providing the following information: guest name, number of guests, any special dietary requirements (intolerances). It is not possible to change the menu on site. Photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings will be made at the event in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code governing public appearances and crowd recordings. The purpose of the recordings is to document and promote the events organized within the framework of TASTE BALATON. and to promote them. The recordings will be made available on the www.tastebalaton.hu website, social media pages, media appearances, and YouTube channel.
