Art and gastronomy where experience becomes flavor

In 2026, we will be returning with a special public programwhere we will present the meeting of gastronomy and fine arts. Chef Ákos Sárközi and painter Évi Sárközi invite guests into a shared creative universe, where flavors and visual experiences reinforce each other. During the evening, the mood and color palette of Évi's paintings inspire Ákos's dishes— the plate becomes a kind of canvas, where textures, aromas, and compositions continue to tell the same story. The aim of the program is to show that the culinary experience is more than just food – the creative process, emotions, and personal stories are just as much a part of it as artistic images. This experience is intimate, playful, and thought-provoking all at once—an evening where art leaves the gallery and gastronomy goes beyond the kitchen – and the two worlds merge into a single shared experience.

The ticket includes the menu, the price of the accompanying drinks, and the service charge. The ticket price covers one person's consumption and includes VAT. Advance booking is required to redeem the ticket/gift voucher. Please indicate your reservation intention via email at [email protected], providing the following information: guest name, number of guests, any special dietary requirements (intolerances). It is not possible to change the menu on site. Photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings will be made at the event in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code governing public appearances and crowd recordings. The purpose of the recordings is to document and promote the events organized within the framework of TASTE BALATON. The recordings will be made available on the www.tastebalaton.hu website, social media pages, media appearances, and on the YouTube channel.
