Poetic images, puppet theater, and 30Y pulses in a guest performance for young people.
Overview
π Csongor and Tünde is a seminal work of Hungarian literature that questions the meaning of life, happiness, and eternity. The guest performance in Veszprém translates philosophical perspectives into accessible theatrical language: love as the only "key" takes center stage.
π Throughout the concentric paths of the story, Csongor is guided, accompanied, and pursued by characters and forces: Tünde and Ilma, Mirígy and Éj, the devil's children, Balga, humans and marionettes—in poetic images and scenic changes.
π The production combines Vörösmarty's grand poetic ideas with Noémi Vilmos's dramaturgical texts and music by 30Y. The visual world is based on Ágota Matyi's designs, and the puppets and sets were crafted with artisanal precision.
