Aromas, melodies, humor — eggplant spread is prepared while storytelling, with a tasting.

Overview

🍆 The well-known folk tale The Young Szekler Wife and the Devil comes to life in kitchen language: magical, yet "commonplace" objects, live music, and folk songs, the eggplant spread is prepared on stage.

🎭 The kitchen towel, the wooden spoon, and the sound of the hurdy-gurdy guide the family through the story. The puppeteer's storytelling maintains a delicate balance of visuals, rhythm, and humor.

🥖 At the end of the story, the audience can taste the freshly made eggplant spread — with crispy, fresh bread.
