In pursuit of the 2025 Nobel Prizes – Literature Prize

Nobel-focused discussion in Balatonfüred with the participation of experts. An event organized by Tudolvasmányok book club.

📚 The focus of the evening will be on László Krasznahorkai's Nobel Prize in Literature and his life's work. The program examines, through the author's absurd and grotesque Central European prose, how literature can assert the power of art even in apocalyptic circumstances.

🗣️ The lecture will be given by Ágnes Széchenyi, literary historian and doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the discussion will be led by Dr. József Pázmány. The lecture will cover the award-winning Hungarian and his family background, his major works, his career, and will also include excerpts from his works.
