Introduction

Located in the northern Bakony Mountains, Bakonynána attracts visitors with the wild beauty of the Gaja Stream valley including the spectacular Roman Bath gorge and waterfalls. The village heritage includes the Country House, St. Anne's Church, Calvary, and the bell tower – evoke the historical layers of the settlement, which are accompanied by Roman and medieval finds. The area is rich in springs and panoramic views (Vadalmás Spring, Vackor Spring, Csengő Hill Lookout), and its program includes recurring community events, such as the Bakonynána Dumpling Festival.

Location & Accessibility

It can be reached by car via Dudar, and there is also a forest road with limited traffic leading there via Tés and Olaszfalu. By public transport, it is possible to reach Bakonynána primarily by bus from Zirc and Veszprém.
