Borcsa Restaurant

The Borcsa Restaurant is one of the most famous restaurants in Balatonfüred, located directly at the eastern end of Tagore Promenade, on the shore of Lake Balaton, next to Eszterházy Beach. Thanks to its lakeside location, the terraces offer stunning views of the lake and the Tihany Peninsula, making the dining experience complete with the panorama.

The restaurant has several separate indoor and outdoor areas, making it an ideal choice not only for a pleasant lunch or dinner, but also for events, weddings, and corporate functions. The menu includes classic Hungarian dishes, fresh fish dishes, grilled dishes, vegetarian options, as well as gluten- and lactose-free choices. The wine list features the best wines from the Balaton wine region.

The Borcsa Restaurant is easily accessible on foot via the promenade, and there are several paid parking lots in the vicinity (e.g., Huray Street, Kisfaludy Beach). It is about a 15-minute walk from the train station to the restaurant, but it can also be reached by local bus services.
