Central beach

Balatonszepezd Central Beach is the most popular bathing spot in the town, covering an area of 5600 m² offers family-friendly and barrier-free services. The entire infrastructure of the beach has been renovated: modern sanitary facilities, a baby-mother room, a bath designed for people with reduced mobility, changing rooms, solar showers, sun loungers, and parasols ensure comfort. The water can be accessed via several entrances, including a ramp to assist those with limited mobility. The beach area features a sandy playground, sports field, fitness park, water sports equipment, a valuables storage facility, a mobile phone charging station, and free WiFi.

Safety is supervised by the Balaton Water Rescue Service, while the beach attendant service ensures smooth operation.

The beach is a 2-minute walk from Balatonszepezd train station and bus stop. There is a restaurant at the entrance and two buffets on the beach. Free parking is available nearby. The beach is barrier-free, with Braille signage for the blind and visually impaired, and an induction loop to help the deaf and hard of hearing find their way around. The beach operates as a paid beach between June 21 and August 24. and is open to the public outside of opening hours as a free beach and promenade.
