Introduction

A settlement with roots dating back to the Árpád era, located in a stream valley. Its most famous son is Benedek Virág, poet and literary translator. Its most characteristic building is the church named after King Saint Stephen, built in the 18th century in Baroque style, which can also be found in the municipality's coat of arms, just like the hills and vineyards characteristic of the area, referring to the traditions of local wine production.

Location & Accessibility

It is located in Zala County, near Kis-Balaton. It can be reached by car from the Route 76 by turning off near Pacsa, or from Kis-Balaton via Egeracsa. Bus services to the settlement typically run from Keszthely, Pacsa, Zalaapáti, Zalakaros, and Zalaegerszeg.
