Istvándy Estate

The character of the dishes and wines served at this family estate, located on the southwestern slope of Tóti Hill, is determined by local ingredients and the rhythm of the seasons. Next to the hillside restaurant, a spacious green area, a soccer field, and a playground await guests, with a panoramic view of Lake Balaton. The kitchen's offerings are limited, appearing on a weekly changing menu. It is open on weekends in spring and fall, and several days a week during the high season. Reservations by phone are recommended.

The guesthouses are designed for couples, with a private Finnish sauna and indoor jacuzzi, and a "bottle of Istvándy for every night" and a farmer's breakfast. The interiors are understated and calm, while the terraces offer views of grazing cattle and Lake Balaton, perfect for relaxation.

The estate is located among the monadnocks of the Balaton Uplands, on the outskirts of Káptalantóti, along the road connecting the settlement with Badacsonytomaj. Parking is available on site. It is difficult to reach by public transport, as the nearest bus stop is located in Káptalantóti, 2.5 km from the venue.
