Kedves Dessert Shop

Kedves Dessert Shop is one of the oldest and most popular dessert shops in Balatonfüred, with a history dating back more than a hundred years. Founded in 1917, the dessert shop was originally linked to the Láng family, later became known as Filipovits Confectionery, and in 1957 it was given its current, now iconic name: Kedves Dessert Shop. Preserving its historical atmosphere, the dessert shop was renovated in 2016 and today it evokes the nostalgic world of old-fashioned desserts, combined with a modern, fresh approach.

The dessert shop on Blaha Lujza Street offers fresh, hearty breakfasts – egg dishes, bagels, and pastries – and welcomes its guests, while during the day it offers homemade cakes, pies, and locally made ice cream. Gluten-free desserts are also available, so those with special dietary requirements can also find something to their liking. The romantic, quiet terrace and relaxed atmosphere create the perfect setting for a coffee, a date, or a long conversation.

Kedves Dessert Shop is located in the historic district of Balatonfüred, at 7 Blaha Lujza Street, right next to Anna Grand Hotel. It is easily accessible on foot from Tagore Park and the shore of Lake Balaton.

If you are arriving by car, it is advisable to turn onto Jókai Mór Street from Highway 71, where there are more parking spaces available outside the season. During the summer, we recommend using the large parking lot on Huray Street, from which the dessert shop can be reached with a short walk.
