Introduction

Pál Tavern is an iconic restaurant in the Balaton Uplands, located on the southern side of Visszhang (Echo) Hill in Tihany, in the shade of vineyards. As a family business, it offers an authentic, rustic tavern atmosphere and traditional Hungarian dishes, including carp from Lake Balaton and a family-style mixed platter.The terrace, reminiscent of a vineyard, and the friendly, attentive service enhance the special atmosphere of the place.

Location & Accessibility

Pál Tavern is located in Tihany, near Visszhang Street, in the vineyard area below Eecho Hill. It is easily accessible by car from the M7 motorway towards Tihany , and there is a paid parking lot near the tavern. Those arriving by train or bus can reach the restaurant on foot after a short walk from Tihany.

The restaurant is open seasonally during the summer months.
