Introduction

Ramassetter Visitor Center is located in the center of Sümeg, one of the town's most significant architectural and intellectual treasures. Originally built in Baroque style, then rebuilt in eclectic style in the 19th century, this listed building was the home of Vince Ramassetter, the famous mayor and patron of Sümeg. The aim of the visitor center is to present the history of the Ramassetter family and the rich cultural heritage of the town.

The interactive exhibition rooms provide information about the wine culture of the Balaton Uplands, pottery and blue dyeing traditions, as well as a summary of the town's history. The center features a 3D model table, a touchscreen map, quizzes, and artifacts, offering visitors both historical knowledge and an exciting discovery experience.
