Viriusi Beach

Viriusi Beach is one of the most popular bathing spots in Balatonszepezd, offering peaceful, family-friendly relaxation on an area of 5000 m². Thanks to recent developments, the beach now welcomes visitors with modern sanitary facilities, a baby-mother room, solar showers, and new changing rooms. There are several convenient entrances to the water, while the beach offers a sandy playground, sports field, and outdoor fitness park on the shore provide opportunities for active recreation. Its shady areas and well-maintained environment make it an ideal choice for families, couples, and those seeking a peaceful Lake Balaton experience.

The beach can be reached via the steps opposite Üdülő Street, along Route 71. It is not directly accessible by car, so the beach offers a quieter, more secluded atmosphere. It is easily accessible on foot due to its proximity to the train station and the central beach. During the summer season (June 21 - August 24), it operates as a paid beach between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and outside these hours it can be visited as a free beach.
